I am Dr. Susan Chan, a celebrant dedicated to creating meaningful ceremonies that honour life’s milestones with dignity and respect. With a calm presence and a deep commitment to human connection, I strive to offer services that embody compassion in practice. My work is guided by the belief that kindness, community, and storytelling are essential in supporting wellbeing and presence.

I bring a culturally sensitive and responsive approach to everything I do. Over the years, I have supported individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, always seeking to acknowledge traditions, values, and lived experiences.

My focus is on easing stress, alleviating anxiety, and offering gentle support in times of transition,

loss, or trauma. In every service, I aim to create safe and respectful spaces for healing, growth, and remembrance.

About Dr. Susan Chan

I’m Susan, married to Ian, based in Ayrshire. I believe in living life to the fullest. Meet my furry family - Yoda the cat, Penny and Solo the dogs, and Obi the tortoise.

I’ve been passionate serving and supporting survivors of cancer and have been one of the lead consultants at Dumfries House Health and Wellbeing Centre. I spend time building bridges with intergenerational work with children in schools and older people in care homes
